Brittney Streeter- Mothers To Be Mentor
July 25, 2022 | In: General Information, Uncategorized
I have been living in Cold Lake for around 6 years. In these 6 years I have completed my Community social work program through Portage College. While completing my program at Portage, I also had the opportunity of spending 2 summers at the Lakeland Centre for FASD’s Summer camp. Currently I am finishing my Addictions Community Support Worker program through Reeves College.
In my new role as Mothers To Be Mentor, I have the opportunity to work with women that are pregnant or at risk of becoming pregnant, who are trying to navigate the role of being a parent or caregiver. This position gives me the opportunity to be a passionate advocate for these individuals.
In my spare time I like to relax with my family and friends. I also spend a lot of time outdoors walking or hiking with my family.
