My name is Tia Luedee, also known as the Lakeland Centre for FASD (LCFASD) Diagnostic Coordinator. My role is to coordinate, prepare and facilitate FASD diagnostic clinics for children and adults exposed to alcohol. I have been an employee of the LCFASD for nearly 5 years & have been in this position for the last 2 years; how time flies!
Before accepting the position of Diagnostic Coordinator, I was an FASD Transition Coordinator working specifically with youth & their families. Prior to this position, I was employed by Victim Services as a court support worker. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work & have been working in the field for the past 8 years. I believe I am one of the lucky ones who have found their calling & look forward to a long career in the social services field!
The Lakeland Centre for FASD provides cost-free programs and services in the Cold Lake, Bonnyville, St. Paul and Lac la Biche areas, as well as on First Nations and Métis Settlements through Alberta.
