Join us to provide 1:1 support to an adult individual with an FASD diagnosis 29 hours per week to coordinate necessary services, some travel required.
Qualifications:
Post Secondary Education in Human Services Field; Knowledgeable about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: Min. 3 years working with people with disabilities or other diverse groups; knowledge of community resources; reliable vehicle; likes to work independently and with a team; an awareness of multi-cultural needs will be considered and asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide mentorship, advocacy and support to an adult with FASD; Assessment of individual needs and collaborate with community agencies; connect individuals to community supports; develop and strengthen individual’s advocacy skills; provide education/training and resource materials to individual’s support network.
