Jaimie Gehring has been working with the Lakeland Centre for FASD for 9 years and is a FASD Outreach Worker. The area Jaimie serves is Two Hills, Lamont, and Minburn County’s. As an Outreach support Jaimie is there to assist schools, caregivers, and all other service providers in the client’s life to help find the appropriate supports for the client to be successful.
Jaimie graduated from Blue Quills First Nation College (University nuhelot’įne thaiyots’į nistameyimâkanak Blue Quills) with a Diploma in Social Work. Before working with the LCFASD Jaimie worked with individuals with disabilities, at a daycare and as an instructional assistant at the Ashmont Elementary School. Jaimie’s passion is helping all people, adults, and children.
Jaimie loves spending time with her fiancé, 4 children, 2 stepchildren, 4 grandchildren and daughter in law as well as all the rest of her family. Family is everything to Jaimie. Jaimie enjoys spending time outside at her farm with all her animals. Jaimie loves hunting and fishing and pretty much anything to do with the outdoors.
