The Lakeland Centre for FASD hosted its 2nd Annual Virtual FASD Conference October 5 & 6, 2021. Our conference theme remained on the judicial system, Let's Continue the Conversation, FASD and the Justice System, Working Towards Better Outcomes. With speakers from around the globe sharing their empirical evidence in supporting individuals with FASD in the criminal justice system. We heard of new research, programs making a difference, and lived experiences of what works best. As our knowledge and research expands in the area of justice, we as providers reshape the judicial responses, treatment, and policies to better address and support the needs of this population. Come join the conversation as we work towards better outcomes.
