Meet Alexa, our Court Support Coordinator! In this role, Alexa supports clients with their court matters across the Lakeland Service Area. She actively works on breaking down the barriers that our clients face within the justice system. Alexa’s first introduction to the legal system came at the age of 22, when she began her policing career. While she has encountered some obstacles that ultimately led her down a different path for now, her commitment to public service remains steadfast. Now at 28, Alexa has transitioned into a new professional role, joining the Lakeland Centre for FASD in 2024 as a Frontline Worker with the 2nd Floor Women’s Recovery Centre and most recently as our Court Support Coordinator. Outside of work, she is an avid runner working toward a sub-21-minute 5km time, by the end of this year. Additionally, she enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her Rottweiler Maya, and connecting with friends.
