Meet Zach, one of our Employment Coordinator and Summer Camp Leader! Zach has recently joined our team as our Cold Lake and Bonnyville Employment Coordinator but has been connected to our centre since 2023 as he has been a Summer Camp Leader at our LCFASD Summer Camp for the last 2 summers and will be joining the camp team again this summer! Zach has been a great addition to the Summer Camp team as he is exceptional at finding creative activities for the campers, always bringing positive energy to his work, and making sure campers have the best camp experience possible based on their needs and interests. In his new role as Employment Coordinator, Zach will be supporting clients with finding employment that matches their abilities as well as helping them build employment skills through Employment Groups. Zach completed a Special Needs Educational Assistant Certificate at Grant MacEwan University in 2018 and continued his education by completing an Interdisciplinary Therapy Assistant Diploma at Norquest College in 2021. Outside of work, Zach enjoys taking his dog Lincoln for walks, hanging out with friends and family, and volunteering as a coach with Lakeland Special Olympics.
