Hi, I’m Darlene Desrochers and I have been in the role of Employment Coordinator for Cold Lake and Bonnyville area for the last 2 ½ years.  Some may recognize me, as I was working upstairs at the Second Floor for five years, before moving to British Columbia. I was in BC for approximately 3.5 years. While there, I worked at the local women’s shelter as a Stop the Violence Counselor, and I also worked at Kootenay Employment Services as a Senior Employment Counsellor. I have many years of experience working in the field of addictions, employment and working in shelters.

A little about me is that I am a mother of two grown children, one who lives here in Cold Lake and the other has returned to Ontario. During my free time, I like to craft, knit, cook, bake. Family is very important to me, and I enjoy spending time with them.
