June 3, 2024 | In: News
The Lakeland Centre for FASD (LCFASD) is proud to announce that is has successfully achieved accreditation with Accreditation Canada. The decision followed its first on- site survey in April 8-10, 2024, as part of an ongoing accreditation process.
Health care accreditation helps identify what an organization is doing well and where to focus its improvement efforts. LCFASD was evaluated against national standards and will use the results to improve the quality and safety of its services.
“I am extremely proud of the entire team at LCFASD,” said Executive Director Lisa Murphy. “Our staff put in immense effort to ensure that our community receives health care services that are safe, effective, and of the highest quality. Receiving this accreditation is a clear testament to our unwavering commitment to quality and safety every single day.”
Accreditation Canada clients work hard to continually improve the quality of their services because quality health care matters. At LCFASD, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards and continually enhancing our care for the benefit of our clients and their families.
