Lisa Swan – Post Diagnostic Support and Outreach Services Supervisor
April 30, 2018 | In: Staff
I have been part of the Lakeland Centre for FASD team for the past 5 ½ years. I enjoyed working with the 2nd Floor Women’s Recovery Centre for the past five years, and then six months ago I took the plunge to join the Coordinator team.
I am a mother of two boys and I have been married to my husband for 18 years. I enjoy spending time out doors; especially camping! I was born and raised in Cold Lake and this will be my forever home!
As a coordinator, my role is to support individuals with FASD. I set up the supports they need to be healthy, happy and successful, as well, I join them in their struggles and their successes. I love that I work one on one with my clients and I truly get to know them as individuals. I like to find the strengths in my clients and see them flourish.
My time here at Lakeland has been a great learning experience and I have had some amazing opportunities to present at conferences and represent LCFASD at public events. I have gained great friendships that will last a lifetime as I work with an excellent group of people who all inspire me everyday to be the best me possible.
