Join and innovative and exciting organization to assist and support pregnant, or newly delivered women, at risk of having an alcohol or drug exposed child by building a relationship of trust and acceptance without judgment through:
Connecting them to appropriate community service providers; supporting women regardless of their personal beliefs or choices using a harm reduction approach; encouraging women to make healthier choices that include their families, partners and other supportive people in their lives and assisting clients in setting realistic goals and working with them to achieve those goals.
Experience or Education in Human Services Field; interest in Women & Addictions; Min. 3 years working with at risk populations; multi-cultural knowledge; experience in Indigenous communities; reliable vehicle and likes to work independently and with a team.
